I have faith in you

I have good news and bad news.
The good news: late last night, we surpassed our ambitious $600,000 online fundraising goal in record time — I'm so grateful to everyone who stepped up!
But the bad news: Two right-wing super PACs — Jim DeMint's Senate Conservatives Fund and swift boat attacker Jerome Corsi's Freedom's Defense Fund PAC — just pledged a combined $540,000 to Akin's campaign.
That's a lot of millionaires helping Akin all at once, so I'm asking for more help from you between now and midnight and setting a new goal. Will you help us stay ahead of them by raising another $150,000 today?
Akin seems unwilling to stand by his extreme record — going as far as comparing me to a "wildcat out of the cage" for holding his feet to the fire in our last debate. According to Akin, that makes me less "ladylike." What does that even mean?
His words make you scratch your head, but the facts don't lie. Just look at where he stands on issues important to Missourians:
- Hand Social Security over to Wall Street – check
- Eliminate federal student loans – you bet
- Pull funding for the school lunch program – absolutely
- Abolish the minimum wage – why not?
- Privatize Medicare – of course
By making a $5 or more donation today you will help us demonstrate that Missourians — and Americans — won't stand for those type of policies:

Throughout this campaign, you have shown me more support than I could've ever asked for. At every turn you've stood beside me.
And if you continue to fight alongside me for the next 37 days, I promise you that I'll repay your incredible support by fighting as hard as I can — for you — for the next six years.
